Our Citizens’ Forum is a public meeting, open to anyone interested in health and social care. It meets four times a year, usually in the evening from 6.30pm - 9.00pm. Each year two Forums are held in Southwark and two in Lambeth. The Forums include a mix of speakers, workshops and discussions.
Examples of topics at recent Forums include leaving hospital, improving services for people who have had a fall or infection, developing the future workforce, local care networks and sharing information. They are very informal meetings, giving people opportunities to hear about and influence integrated care developments.
A key role of the Forum is to inform Citizens’ Board members of the views of local people, so they can better represent those views in other meetings. If you are interested in attending a Citizens’ Forum, or want to join the mailing list for regular updates, do let us know.
You can call our Citizen Engagement Team on 020 7188 7188 Ext 55290, email firstname.lastname@example.org, complete the Sign Up form or see the Get Involved with SLIC document.
