Video: Introduction to Southwark and Lambeth Integrated Care

new SLIC video

Watch our new video about the development of integrated care in Southwark and Lambeth by our partnership.

Local health and social care professionals and citizens explain why integration is important if we are to increase the value of care we provide, so local people can lead healthier and happier lives.

The video provides real examples of how our partners are working together to improve care.

Thank you to the staff and local people at Pulross Intermediate Care Centre, part of Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust; King's College Hospital Emergency Department; Gaumont GP Surgery and the Strength and Balance Class in Camberwell for their help with the filming.

Catherine Pearson, Citizens’ Board member and CEO Healthwatch Lambeth: “Integrated care is what every patient and every person who cares for someone using health and social care wants and I think the film really reflects that. As one person in the film says; integrated care 'gives you that independence, you are looking after yourself'. Healthwatch Lambeth is pleased to be a part of the partnership working to make this a reality.”

Trish McEvoy, CMDT Administrator for Lambeth South West and Lambeth South East: “This is great!”
