#CitizensForum social media summary
On 12 May we held our last Citizens' Forum which focused on developing an integrated workforce in Southwark and Lambeth.
The Forum was attended by 80 people from across the two boroughs. Linda MacEachen from Skills for Care, Jim Moran and Christine Mullen MBE from Skills for Health and Jay Stickland from Southwark Council all gave presentations about workforce integration. Then the attendees took part in a workshop about designing the workforce needed for integrated care, led by Dr Diana Hamilton-Fairley, Consultant and Director of Education Transformation at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.
A full report about the Citizens' Forum and workshop discussions will be published soon.
During the meeting we encouraged attendees to tweet using the hashtags #CitizensForum and #integratedcare to @slicareorg. Local people, Citizens' Board members and SLIC Core Team staff were all tweeting throughout the Forum. Here is a social media summary of all the tweets.
You can find information about the next meeting in the Events section.
